In the trend of global energy transition, more and more research institutions are paying attention to the application of sustainable development and clean energy. A university located in Pathum Thani, Thailand, has decided to build a photovoltaic power station on campus in order to reduce energy costs, carbon emissions, and meet the growing demand for electricity.
However, with the construction of photovoltaic power plants, schools are also facing new challenges. On the one hand, there are a large number of precision scientific research instruments on campus, which have extremely high requirements for the safety of power supply. In addition, there are many people on campus, and any safety accident may pose a threat to them. Therefore, the safety and reliability of power plants have become the most concerned issues for schools. On the other hand, the photovoltaic power station equipment on campus is distributed in multiple areas, and traditional RSD does not have module level monitoring functions, making it difficult to grasp the operation status of the power station and each device on time. This not only makes the management of the power station very difficult, but also increases the complexity and cost of operation and maintenance work.
In response to these issues, the school has chosen AndSolar's smart energy solution, which provides strong support for the safe operation and efficient management of photovoltaic power plants. The installed capacity of this project is 389.02 kW, with a total of 294 epochs of AMCL RSD and 4 units of ADCU gateway installed.
